Countless people are allergic to nuts. Unfortunately, such an allergy can be detrimental to your health in more
ways than one. On one hand, you cannot eat a particular nut, or you may end up with a severe allergic reaction. However, on the other hand, not
eating nuts of any sort can deprive you of vital vitamins and minerals that can keep your body healthy for years to come.
The important thing to keep in mind if you suffer from a nut allergy is that there is a good chance that you
are not allergic to all nuts--only one or two. Therefore, as the first of two nut allergy alternatives, you should visit your doctor to determine
which nuts you are allergic to--and then change your diet so that you only consume nuts that will not cause an allergic reaction.
Secondly, if you find that you're not particularly fond of the nuts which you are not allergic to, you may want
to consider eating a nut alternative. One of the most popular nut alternatives is the soy bean. Oddly enough, soy can be turned into a variety of
different products--from milk to peanut butter. Even better, it contains many of the same nutrients as a nut would.
