Upset stomach and a loss of any particular appetite are two of the most common side effects when taking fluconazole, but typically these side effects are short lived. Make sure you tell your doctor what other medications you are taking before beginning a cycle of fluconazole, as it has been known to react badly with certain other drugs, such as diabetes medicines and drugs for the treatment of insomnia and high blood pressure.
